Since more people seem to want to know what I'm getting up to with my life:
Friday: #manlug's monthly Currybeer, which was fun as ever. The food at Hanaan was OK, though the lamb in my saag gosht was too fatty for my liking. The usual conversation involving geekery, smut and surrealism happened, including trying to define a pin on a chip as a well-defined interface
in terms of the GPL, and
nunfetishist getting increasingly scatological as the evening wore on.
Saturday: Went shopping with
taimatsu for
haggis' birthday present, and learned about knitting and how much wool it takes to make a jumper. Had a bit of a brainfart in the Northern Quarter and got caught in heavy hail on the way back to the station. We met up with the birthday party at La Tasca in Didsbury, and I enjoyed good company, good food and sangria. Came home and crashed out during Doctor Who, then did some phone canvassing.
Sunday: Down to Northenden for politicking, ended up delivering many leaflets in heavy snow and running into
andrewhickey. Came home to food and Deep and Meaningful Talks.
